3D Text Effect Photoshop Tutorial

3D Text effect is one of most used in editing with Photoshop. This tutorial will tech us about how to create 3D text effect in Photoshop. Just remember the base and you can expand your skill to create more amazing text effect.

Step 1: Create a new document and give dark background.
Step 2: Type any word in the document (We use Arial Bold this time)

Step 3: Make your text layer as raster layer by right-clicking the layer and choose Rasterize Type.
Step 4: Transform your text to new form [ Edit> Transform> Perspective] then it should be like this

Step 5: This is the base to create 3D effect looking. Hold Ctrl+Alt and Up arrow (16 times), it will copy and move up one pixel your text layer 16 times.

Step 6: Add Layer Styles to the very top layer, here are the settings

and the result must be like this

For additional finishing touch we can add Layer Style to the very bottom. Here are the settings
